Our Journey

Welcome to Sri Ganesh Hardware, a cornerstone of Visakhapatnam's hardware retail landscape since 15th August 1998. Our journey began with a shared vision among a father, Shri late Amruthlal Patel & his four sons, Vinod Kumar Patel, Damji Patel, Dilip Patel and Ashwin Patel. With having minimal knowledge about the segment and the carving to learn more about the industry with strong desire to serve the best value, what started as a modest store offering a select range of hardware products has grown into one of the leading hardware retail outlets in the city.

From the outset, our commitment to quality and innovation set us apart. The store embarked its early product segment with brand Nimmi from the starting year itself. The early 2000s saw our first major expansion with the introduction of Teak Wood Beeding, which was met with enthusiastic market response for its quality. Our dedication to providing top-notch products continued with the addition of the Dorset brand in 2002, offering high-quality door hardware and locks.

Our growth trajectory continued with the debut of Surat based manufacturing brand Evershine kitchen baskets in 2003 in India, which expanded our offerings to include an extensive range of kitchen basket solutions. The family business has set in motion a sister parent firm, Sri Ganesh Agencies, in the year 2006 for the distribution of Evershine kitchen products in the coastal Andhra region with the aim to increase the product reachability to our end consumers. The introduction of Enox in 2007 brought cutting-edge glass architecture hardware, while Ebco added a diverse range of general hardware products to our lineup.

The year 2012 marked a significant milestone with the addition of Hettich, a renowned German hardware brand known for its superior quality. We further elevated our product range with the introduction of Rehau in December 2013, offering top-of-the-line PVC edge banding and rolling shutters for kitchens. That same year, we welcomed AKS, a provider of high-quality stainless steel hardware products.

In 2013, we also unveiled our first display showroom, showcasing modular kitchen products from Evershine, Hettich, Ebco and fancy range of hardware. This showroom evolved over time, and in 2020, we launched a new experience center with an expansive display that features over a thousand handle models, kitchen solutions, sliding fittings, and bathroom accessories, among other exclusive offerings

The family business further expanded with an additional inclusion of distribution firm, Sri Ganesh Trading in the year 2021. Both the sister parent firms engaged in distribution of top brands like Nimmi, AKS, Evershine, Dorset, Rehau & Bonus in coastal Andhra region.

Our commitment to excellence was further solidified with the introduction of Hafele in 2022, bringing a range of high-tech hardware solutions from this esteemed German brand and one of the prioritised brand in terms of quality and variety.
